Optical Disc Solutions, Inc. Announces OpeningApril 1, 2005
Optical Disc Solutions, Inc., formerly known as SANYO Laser Products, Inc., announced its opening today under local ownership and management.
“Optical Disc Solutions now has all of the depth of the previous SANYO operation, only now with all of the flexibility and financial independence of a locally run and operated firm,” comments Fred Austerman, President. “We will focus on what we do best, taking care of our customers that require the highest levels of customer service, scheduling flexibility and quality CD and DVD manufacturing,” continues Austerman.
Optical Disc Solutions inherits 17 years of experience from SANYO Laser Products, Inc., which was one of the original CD replicators in the United States. Having commenced operations in July 1987, many of the original employees still hold positions within Optical Disc Solutions and several have been promoted to help oversee the operation and growth of the new company.
Optical Disc Solutions is an ISO-9002 compliant facility and an IRMA certified facility. The company ardently supports the anti-piracy efforts initiated by IRMA, this industry’s vanguard organization fighting the piracy of content.

SANYO Laser Products, Inc. was previously owned by SANYO Electric Co., Ltd and SANYO Sales and Marketing Corporation.
